Professional Assembly and Factory Testing before Delivery
Core’s FAST (Factory Assembled Storage Tank) Systems provide pre-engineered, fully assembled fuel storage and supply systems which are delivered to your site nationwide. This process maximizes efficiency and quality control in every component of the system. Professional assembly and factory testing is completed in manufacturing facilities before on-site delivery and installation. Illinois State Toll Authority
Core Engineered Solutions recently designed and furnished E-85 fueling systems for the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority, fulfilling federal mandates for the use of alternative fuels. Core utilized it’s innovative FAST System (Factory-Assembled Storage Tank) which included UL 2085 Convault tanks, weights & measures, tank mounted pumps for E-85, filtration, and dispensers all installed at the manufacturing facility. The units arrived pre-piped and pre-wired to the site. The FAST process insured quality control and saved significant transportation and labor costs for the prime contractor, Stenstrom Petroleum.
Bryn Mawr Hospital
Core’s installation of a mission critical fuel system at the Bryn Mawr Hospital in Pennsylvania is a perfect example of the advantages of a FAST System. Core furnished the Bryn Mawr Hospital with a safe, compliant, and secure fuel transfer system (pictured above) including duplex supply pumps, PLC-based digital controller, duplex filter/separators and a 280 USG DWS day tank with return pump.
The complete system was factory assembled and tested (electrical/mechanical) utilizing the FAST process. After successful testing, all electrical and mechanical components were marked and identified before being disassembled for delivery. This allowed installation to be reduced to just two days on site.
