No Lack of Communications for Alcatel
Alcatel (Now owned by Nokia) was a global leader in the communications industry, operating in 130 countries and controlling the largest digital line installation and optical networking base in the world. When Alcatel required a reliable emergency power system for their Apollo cable landing stations in Brookhaven, New York in wall Township, New Jersey they called encore engineered solutions.
The complex system design called for two 10,000 gallon above ground fuel tanks, duplex pump set and digital tank monitoring engaging that tied into an existing building management software system. A unique dual piping configuration allowed fuel to be pumped from either one of the main storage tanks through the duplex pump set. UL 2085 rated ConVault storage tanks were used to ensure the safest system possible. Identical systems were installed at both the Brookhaven and wall Township locations. Core’s unique single source ability simplify the entire project for Alcatel. Core finished and install all tanks, valves, pumps, controls and monitoring systems as well as providing installation, permits, start up and commissioning.
