Turnkey Fueling System w/ Fire Suppression for Department of Public Works Municipal Garage

The City of Marlborough needed upgrades to the fueling system at their Municipal Garage but did not want to go through the long and costly bid procurement process. Fortunately, with Core’s GSA-schedule and the GSA’s Disaster Purchasing Program for State and Local Disaster Purchasing they were able to purchase a turnkey fuel system direct from Core at the same pricing negotiated by the Federal Government.

The GSA’s Disaster Purchasing Program allows State and Local Governments to reference a GSA-schedule for disaster recovery or preparedness purposes, including but not limited to major weather events, terrorism, or nuclear, biological, chemical, or radiological attack.

Core Engineered Solutions provided a truly turnkey fueling system for the City of Marlborough – responsible for the design, equipment supply, installation, and removal of the existing fueling system. Core supplied a 9,978-gallon ConVault aboveground storage tank factory-assembled with dispensers, tank gauging equipment and all other appurtenances for a compliant and reliable system. Core’s scope also included upgrades to the fueling system’s electrical design, where we provided our SafeSite Dispensing System Controller to integrate all the fueling system’s power through one sub-panel with emergency stop capabilities.
